In 1982, Paul van Oorlé founded Factory for Più, the very first Belgian company to offer display cases for rent—and for more than 40 years now, a trusted partner of SDB Vitrinebouw. A lot has changed since then. Competition entered the market, the product range expanded more than fiftyfold, and with Joakim van Oorlé, the second generation is now at the helm. One thing, however, has remained unchanged for over four decades: our collaboration.

Factory for Più rents out display cases, counters, and presentation furniture for trade fairs, exhibitions, and other temporary setups. Their focus is mainly on art, antiques, and jewellery, both nationally and internationally.
“We work in Belgium and all neighbouring countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, France, and the United Kingdom,” Joakim explains. “Seven days a week, we manage around five hundred presentation items many of which are SDB display cases.”

A growing partnership

It all started with an order of ten display cases. Then another ten. And then a few more. As Factory for Più grew, so did our partnership.
“In the meantime, the range kept evolving along with the trends,” says Joakim. “In the 1980s, profiles had to be brown. In the 1990s, black became popular, followed by silver and today, white is the standard. We also develop many ideas ourselves by observing the market closely, which we then refine together with SDB. What matters most is that the display cases remain neutral, because ultimately, it’s all about showcasing our customers’ objects.”

“We know exactly what we’re getting: high-quality display cases.”

High-quality display cases

According to Joakim, there are several reasons why Factory for Più has chosen SDB display cases for so many years—but quality is the most important one. “We know exactly what we’re getting: high-quality display cases. And that’s exactly what our customers’ pieces deserve. With SDB, we never run into issues with finishes, locks, or other small components. And if something unexpected does happen, it’s resolved immediately. The same goes for repairs: I can drop off a display case in the morning and pick it up again in the afternoon.”

Speaking the same language

“That we’ve been working together for so long is also because we truly speak the same language,” Joakim continues. “Both in terms of product quality and the way we work together. Communication is fast, the lines are short, and everything runs smoothly. We have absolutely no reason to look elsewhere—our collaboration will certainly continue for many years to come. I recently placed another order for a large project in Frankfurt, and I can’t wait for the display cases to arrive.”
