Technology Section: An upgrade of our display cabinets and new tabletop display cases

New in SDB Display Cabinets: A new lock has been introduced for our large series of display cases with sliding doors. The replacement for the old lock features a discreet design and is available in silver and black.

    New lock

The new lock has three key advantages. First, it has no parts protruding from the front of the display cabinet, as the lock itself is completely removable. Second, we can now deliver the display cabinet ready for use without needing to reverse the sliding doors. Third, the lock is now matched to our standard colors of black and silver, making it almost unnoticeable.

    Guide Profile

Another significant upgrade is the guide profile on both vertical sides of the display cases with sliding doors. This profile resembles a double U, allowing the glass to slide in perfectly. The result is an optimal seal between the sliding door and the profile.

    New tabletop display cases

We have also made a last-minute decision: as of September 1st, we are also changing our standard TAV tabletop display cases.

Starting from 1-9, these will now be delivered with a square profile instead of a quarter-round profile. This means that the uprights of the tabletop display cases will now be square instead of quarter-round.

    Square profile

And finally, an announcement: Our standard display cases in the series better known as GPC and derived 315 models will soon be produced with a square profile. This transition will be carried out in phases.

Upon request, we can still build them with a quarter-round profile, but this must be specified separately when placing the order.

And the best part? These product improvements have no impact on the prices of our display cases—extra quality at no additional cost.
